The idea behind this painting is straight forward. That black people need to do for themselves and create opportunities for there families and not depend on another group to do this for them.
 
The image of a young black child holding a bag of money is what most media outlets, most artist or rap songs would portray in our society, but I put a spin on it that represented opportunities through economics as oppose to just having a lot of money.
