This piece is demonstrating the idea of writing the letter 5 in arabic multiple times in gold and drawing squiggly black lines aboove the number, then passing a red line through the numbers giving it a 3 dimeinsional feel to it.  The number 5 in arabic is written like a circle and has deep meanings in Al-Islam. one meaning is a quote from our Prophet Muhammad who said "Al-Islam is based or built on 5".
